Chapter 25: Corner Shot

I quickly moved inside the door to Olivia’s floor as two giggling girls came out.

I sauntered quickly down the hall and reached Olivia’s door just as she was coming out. She was wearing a snug pair of jeans, torn at the knee. Her top was a while see through peasant top, with a white spaghetti strap beneath it. Even wearing casual clothes, she was incredibly beautiful.

“Isaac!” She beamed.

Unexpectedly, she jumped, throwing her arms around my neck.

“Whoa!” I cried. Her perfect, sweet smell hit me harder than usual, and I was practically salivating. I swallowed, locking my arms around her.

It took every ounce of strength I had to keep from pushing her against a wall and having my way with her.

“Are you okay?” I asked, trying to cover up my desires with worry.

Olivia nodded. “Yes.” She released me and slid down my body until her feet touched the floor.

She pursed her lips. “Sorry to jump you like that,” She said, lightly laying her hand on my chest. “It’s just that Gabby has been in there for over an hour, breaking up with her boyfriend over the phone. There’s so much yelling… thank you for rescuing me.”

She stood on her toes and lightly kissed my cheek. I wanted to turn and catch her lips with mine desperately.

My hands remained clenched on her hips. “Oh, no problem. I didn’t know, I could have come by earlier.”

“I would have liked that.” Olivia smiled up at me.
I swallowed thickly again and carefully reached toward her. I lightly brushed a strand of hair back from her face, running my fingers down the curtain of her long hair. With my other hand, I caught her chin gently.

Her smile slowly faded, her lips parting slightly. It was definitely an invitation.

I leaned down toward her and lightly touched my lips with hers. She let out the breath she’d been holding; a rush of cool air against my own warm breath.

I moved closer, crushing her plump lips beneath my own. I dropped my hand to her collarbone, lightly brushing my hand beneath the curtain of her hair. My hand lightly circled her long, slender neck. My other hand rested on her lower back, and while she was frozen in place from shock, I pulled her closer.

Her soft body pressed to mine, and I could feel my restraint crumbling. Her mouth opened with mine and my tongue met hers.

She tasted just as delightful as she smelled. The visions of us naked and passionate resurfaced and I suddenly released her mouth.

She slumped in my arms, breathing heavy. “Wow.” She breathed.

I swallowed and nodded. “I’m sorry, Olivia. I’ve got to stop doing that.”

She shook her head, her cheek rested against my chest. “No, it’s good practice for me. I need it.”

I frowned. “Olivia, every time I kiss you I practically jump you… it’s not right. You’re going to think I’m only interested in… I mean, I don’t want you to think that I only want you to… jump you. I like you, a lot. I just… when I kiss you… it’s like…”

She nodded. “Like this wonderful burning… like the world stops and it’s just us. It’s just that moment of us kissing and holding each other.” She paused. “That sounds so lame…”

“No, that’s the perfect description for it.” I shrugged. “Do you umm… want to go play pool?”

Olivia smiled and nodded. “Yes. Please.”

“Okay. Our common room or yours?” I asked.

She smiled. “Ours. It’s always empty. I don’t know why there’s a pool table in the girl’s lounge. No one ever uses it.”

“That’s better.” I agreed.

“Okay.” She picked up my hand and pulled me down the hall. We reached the end where the common room was. She opened the door with her card and turned on the light. I crossed the room and lifted the cover on the pool table. There was at least an inch of dust covering the canvas.

“Oh, wow. Has this thing ever been used?”

Olivia laughed. “Probably not.” She took the cover and folded it over the back of the sofa.

I began racking up the balls, as she watched interested. I placed the white ball on the line and removed the triangle. I pulled two cues off the wall and handed one to her.

“How do we play?” She inquired.

I smiled. “We’ll start off early. Stripes and solids; a simple game. You can be solids, so those are the balls you’re trying to sink. I’m sinking the striped balls, and whoever gets rid of their balls faster wins.”

“Simple enough.” She nodded. “And it’s all angles and geometry, right?”

“You’ve got it.”

Olivia was eying the triangle of balls incredulously.

“Okay, your break, babe.” I bargained, reaching for the blue chalk.

“Alright…” She said hesitantly.

She bent over the table, awkwardly holding her cue.

I laughed, she looked almost ridiculous. “Okay, stop. Here, let me help you.”

She was starting to look a little ridiculous.

“You’re right handed, right?” I asked.

She nodded.

“Okay, switch sides and hold the cue in your right hand, and aim with your left.”

She did as I instructed. “How do I aim again?”

I smiled and leaned over her, adjusting her fingers, I positioned the end of the cue between her knuckles.

“Okay, take your best shot.” I offered, remaining in my stance bent over her.

She leaned closer to the table, inadvertently pushing her ass into my groin. I closed my eyes, and resisted the urge to groan at the contact.

I swallowed thickly, moving away from her carefully. “Umm… well done. Nice shot.”

“I didn’t even sink anything though. That’s the point of the game, right?”

“Yeah, but it… it was a nice clean break, actually.” I shook my head, trying to dispel the overwhelming urge to simply bend her over the pool table and have my way with her.

I swallowed thickly again.

“Are you okay?”

I nodded. “Fine.” I chuckled. “My shot.”

She nodded. “I want to see how a professional pool hustler can do it.”

I chuckled. “Right.”

I circled the table slowly, lining up my shots in my head.

I finally found an easy way to show off and bent. I lined up my cue, applied the right amount of pressure and hit the white ball. It hit two of the striped balls, sending them both in opposite directions on the table. Both sunk in opposite corners.

Olivia gasped softly. “Show off.”

I smirked. “Give it a try.”

She moved around the table, while I leaned on my cue.

“I can shoot from anywhere?” She asked.

“Anywhere you can get a decent shot.” I nodded.

“Okay.” She mused, moistening her lips as she considered her best options. ]

It took her ages, but finally she leaned over the table, adjusting the cue in the same way I had shown her.

“Am I doing this right?” She asked, bending with her back to me.

“Yeah… yeah, great form.” I mused, tilting my head and admiring her perfect ass. “Very nice.”

She took aim and shot.

I snapped my attention to watching the balls soar across the table.

“Oh! Look! I got one in!” She cried excitedly.

I chuckled. “You did. But you sunk one of my balls.”

Olivia pursed her lips and as I moved around the table to retrieve the ball, she burst into giggles.

“What?” I frowned. It took a moment, but it finally hit me. “Oh. A ‘balls’ joke. Cute. Really mature, actually.” I smirked.

She giggled softly. “Sorry. I couldn’t help it.”

“Right.” I chuckled. I pulled the ball she had sunk from the pocket and placed it back on the table. “We’ll call that one a practice shot. Try again.”

She drew in a deep breath, took aim and shot. This time she sunk the white ball. I chuckled again.

“Was that bad?” She asked.

“Well, if we were playing for real, I just won.”

“Oh.” She frowned.

“That’s okay.” I said quickly. “We’re just playing for practice.” I pulled the ball from the pocket and placed it back on the table.

“Come here, I’ll help you.”

I moved to stand next to her, thinking about the easiest shot she could make. “Okay… Come here, line up your cue.” I encouraged.

She leaned over the table, lining up her cue. I stood on the other side of the table, leaning over the ball. “Try and hit it on this side of the ball. It’ll ricochet of this ball…” I pointed, without actually touching anything. “And it should sink it in the far corner… go easy on it though. Just apply medium pressure. If you hit it too hard it will go too far, and if you don’t hit it hard enough, it won’t move.”

Olivia nodded, pursing her lips again.

I watched her intently focused. She aimed and her cue connected with the white ball. Just as I had mapped out, it connected with the other ball and sunk.

Olivia let out a delighted gasp. “I did it! I actually got one!”

I chuckled. “Good job, we’ll have you hustling pool in no time.” I smirked.

She laughed, moving around the table and hugging me tightly, excitedly.

I laughed, dryly, pulling her close. Her soft body felt remarkable against my hard chest. I wanted to hold her there forever.

“I’ve never seen someone so excited over making a shot before.” I mused.

“I’ve never made one before… at least not one that counts.” She replied, with a small laugh.

“Okay.” I replied, slowly releasing her. “I’ll go easy on you.”

“No, don’t.” She said. “Show me your best shot.”

I smirked.

“Come on, big shot. Show me what you can do. I want to see it.” She tempted.

I raised my eyebrows. “Alright.”

I circled the table and lined up a good trick shot. Perfect. I grinned and took aim. The white ball hopped two others and connected with three of the striped balls, sinking them all one after another.

I turned to grin smugly, but she was gaping at me in shock.

I shrugged. “You wanted to see the best I’ve got. That was the best I could manage on the fly.”

“That was… impressive.” She breathed.

I chuckled. “Yeah, well in a lot of games that would be an illegal move, right? I mean, trick shots aren’t generally accepted. And ball jumping is usually looked down upon, it could damage the table.”

Olivia smiled. “Is it my turn?”

“Sure.” I answered. I knew it was my turn, but I decided to let her have it.

Olivia circled the table with an expression of determination on her face.

I watched intently with a smirk on my face.

She moistened her lips and leaned over the table. She took extra care aiming and finally took a shot.

She watched the ball inch closer to the pocket and gasped sharply. “Look! I did it!” She cried excitedly.

I chuckled. “Nice shot too.” I unzipped my hoodie and removed it, draping it over the back of the sofa. I yanked my t-shirt down over my jeans.

“It’s still your shot. See if you can make it two in a row.” I challenged.

She moved around the table slowly, lining up and taking another careful shot.

She managed to move the balls around the table, but didn’t sink anything.

Olivia seemed to pout a little.

I lined up to take the easiest shot, hoping I wouldn’t sink anything. Just before my cue hit the ball, I felt something tug at my cue from behind, causing me to knock the ball sideways.

I turned around to see Olivia smiling innocently at me.

“Hey! Cheater!” I accused.

She giggled. “Come on, you needed to be taken down a peg. She pulled the cue from my hands.

“Oh, that’s it!” I warned, wrapping my arms around her tightly, pinning her arms at her sides. I lifted her off her feet and tickled her mercilessly.

She shrieked with giggles, attempting to wriggle out of my arms. Our cues fell to the floor in the shuffle.

Olivia twisted in my arms suddenly and I hugged her closely to me. I lightly swept her hair behind her shoulder and leaned down to kiss her.
