Chapter 31: Too Fast

Olivia’s roommate still hadn’t returned, so Olivia and I moved toward the sofa, to watch TV. I quickly lost interest in the program she was watching, distracted immediately when she pulled a blanket over the two of us, claiming to be cold.

I found myself more and more distracted by her. She was so beautiful without even trying, and all I wanted to do was kiss her.

My lips were gravitating toward hers before I even knew what was happening.

She turned to me suddenly and our lips were barely an inch apart. She smiled, a sly grin. “You’re going to kiss me, aren’t you?”

“I was thinking about it.” I replied.

“Then do it.”

“Hmmm…” I murmured. I drew her legs across my lap, moving closer to her. I knew that if I ended up between those creamy thighs again, I couldn’t stop myself, so I was taking a preliminary caution this time.

I kissed her and this time her tongue searched for mine first. I returned her kisses until it seemed like she could no longer breathe. I then decided to go for the all-too-sensitive skin of her neck, that I knew she enjoyed. The neck of her hoodie slid down revealing a pale shoulder and the strap of her thin camisole. I ran my fingers lightly up and down her sides, avoiding the swell of her luscious breasts.

I kissed along her throat, before reclaiming her mouth and gently laying her back on the sofa.

I found a small nook between her jaw and ear, placing a small kiss there. She shuddered, sighing.

I kissed down her throat, pausing to lick and nibble at specific places just to tease her.

She made small noises of pleasure that were delightful.

I slid my hand beneath her thin camisole and slowly inched it up. I explored the soft, smooth plains of her stomach until I reached her breast. Perhaps just to tease me, she was braless. Her breasts were a work of art; full, and the perfect shape and size.

With my lips still on her neck, her head tossed back and she sighed, as I caressed the soft flesh, squeezing lightly in my hand. Her eyes seemed to roll back delightfully, and the ragged panting she was emitting was broken up only by the delightful whimpers she released.

I wanted nothing more than to plant myself between her thighs and rub against her, but I had to restrain myself, to go slower. Her chest was heaving, but I played with the weight of her breast in my hand, moving my thumb in small circles against her pert nipple. She pulled the elastic from my hair, and shoved her hands into my hair.

I kissed quickly across her chest, and before she could stop me I pulled the front of her camisole down and freed the breast I had been teasing.

I opened my mouth and laid my tongue across the rosy peak.

“Oh, Isaac.” She sobbed.

I lapped my tongue around her nipple, sucking as much of her breast into my mouth as I could. I kept my eyes on her, though she was arching back and leaning on the arm of the sofa. I sunk my teeth lightly into the sensitive skin of her nipple, pinching just enough to hear the soft, sexy squeak that emerged.

I’d had enough, I was unbearably aroused and all I wanted to do was suck on her.

I closed my mouth around her nipple and suckled, taking turns between teasing the nipple erect and suckling.

She gasped.

“Oh, Isaac!”

“Mmm..” I mumbled, mistaking the sentiment for arousal. My arms tightened around her, pulling her close.

“Ike, wait, please.” She panted. “Stop.”

I stopped immediately, knowing what she wanted.

Her chest was heaving, and she swallowed thickly.

“Isaac,” She panted. “Wait, please. I… I think we should slow down. We just had sex for the first time last night, and we did it… a lot. Can we slow down, please?”

I swallowed, “Yeah, you’re right.” I agreed reluctantly. “It’s too soon. We’re moving too quickly. I should better control myself, I don’t want to be jumping you all the time…”

She nodded slowly, adjusting her shirt.

“Well… at least I’m warmer than I was.” She breathed.

“Okay. Umm… I think I need a distraction. Do you want to go for a walk or something?”

“That would be great.” She smiled. “I’d like that.”

I stood and carefully helped her to her feet.

She smiled. “Do you think I’ll need a coat?”

“Possibly. If you’re cold in here, you might be freezing out there.” I teased lightly.

She smiled sweetly. “Okay, I’ll be right back.”

She stood and walked into her bedroom.

I sighed and dropped my head into my hands. What was wrong with me?
I’d spent all night with her, and already I was groping her. For some reason, I couldn’t keep my hands off her, and as soon as she was around me, I became some sort of sex starved animal.

I sighed, and told myself it was because I liked her, and because I’d never been with the same girl more than once. At least not on purpose, anyway.

I leaned back against the sofa.

“Ready to go?” Olivia asked, sinking her teeth adorably into her lower lip. She was sliding her arms into her thin jacket.

“Yeah.” I said quickly. I stood and reached for the extra elastic band in my pocket. I began awkwardly shoving my hands into my hair, to tuck it back into a ponytail.

Olivia moved closer to me, stopping my hands. “Why don’t you ever wear your hair down more often? You have such nice hair…” She mused, lightly toying with my sloppy curls. She smiled slightly.

“Okay.” I caught her hands in mine, holding them lightly.

She smiled.

I wanted desperately to kiss her, and decided I needed a distraction.

“Should we go?” I offered.

She nodded, “Okay.”

I kept one of her hands and walked with her to the door. I held her hand as she slipped her feet into her fancy sneakers without backs. I’d seen the wooden novelty clogs, but nothing like her shoes. I chopped it up to girls being weird.

Olivia beamed up at me.

“What?” I asked, grinning back.

She held up out hands, with our fingers interlaced.

I shrugged. “It’s been a while since I’ve held a girl’s hand… it’s actually been a while since I’ve done a lot of romantic crap.” I opened the door for her.

“I see it’s coming back nicely.” She teased, slipping through the door.

We walked down the hallway, rushing to catch the elevator before the doors closed.

She laughed, once inside and stood on her toes to kiss my cheek.

The urge to kiss her again was overwhelming.

We walked silently through the lobby and out onto the dimly lit stone walkways.

Olivia drew in a deep breath. “Tell me something.”

“Like what?” I prompted.

“Like something new, something no one knows about you.” She challenged.

I smirked. “You already know everything.”

“No, I can’t possibly.” She responded.

“Okay…” I stopped her. “Something no one knows… hmm… well, I like you. Very, very much.”

She grinned hugely. “I like you too.” She beamed, “But it’s not what I meant…”

“Okay.” I took her hand and resumed walking. I thought about it for several moments. “One time, I let my younger sisters braid my hair into pigtails. They wanted to put make up on me, but I quickly put a stop to that.”

Olivia laughed softly. “Oh, please tell me there are pictures!”

“No way.” I laughed. “Never.”

We reached the stone bench under the large elm tree in the back court yard. Olivia plopped down and I sat next to her.

“Do you mind if I have my last cigarette now?” I asked.

She smiled and shook her head. “Not at all.” She answered.

I removed the package of cigarettes from the front pocket of my hooded sweatshirt and removed one cigarette and my lighter.

“Can I have those?” She asked, holding out her hand.

I nodded and surrendered my package of cigarettes. She stood and walked over to the nearest trash bin and dropped them inside.

I sighed, I was definitely going to have to savour this last cigarette.

I cupped my hands around the flame of the lighter and lit my cigarette.

I sucked in a deep drag and released it from my lungs slowly.

“So, it’s your turn then.” I prompted.

“My turn?” She inquired, frowning. She sat next to me, keeping a careful distance, and sitting up wind from me.

“Yeah. I told you something about me, you tell me something about you.” I explained.

She pursed her lips, thinking.

She sighed. “I don’t… I don’t really have anything…”

“There has to be something.” I pressed.

“I was picked on a lot in middle school. I didn’t have a lot of friends and I was really geeky. And when the cheerleaders found out I had become a vegetarian that summer… they teased me mercilessly.”

“I’m not proud of this, and if you ever tell anyone this, I’ll deny it… but I was so upset one day after they teased me… I went to the McDonalds around the corner and bought a Big Mac and ate the entire thing.”

I raised one eyebrow. “Really?”

She nodded. “I felt even worse about that.” She sighed.

“How did you go from that geeky girl who got picked on to the insane fox you are now?” I asked.

Olivia blushed brightly. “I’m not…”

“You have no idea how beautiful you are, do you?” I asked, lowering my cigarette and holding it away from her. “Liv, I can honestly tell you that there is like an entire line up of guys behind me, waiting for you to dump me and move on. You’re so unbelievably out of my league…”

Olivia laughed softly. “I disagree.”

I lifted my cigarette back to my mouth, determined not to waste it. I inhaled another long drag.
