Chapter 57: Benefits

I carried both trays toward a table in the cafeteria. I placed Olivia’s tray down in front of a chair and placed my own tray next to it.

I pulled out her chair for her to sit and helped her push it back in.

Olivia smiled. “Thank you.” She said.

“I may be a little rusty at all this romantic crap, but it’s slowly sinking in.” I smirked, sitting next to her.

She smiled. “I don’t think you’re rusty at all. In fact, I think you’re quite adept at all of this stuff.”

I grinned, laying my hand on her thigh and squeezing gently.

She giggled softly, leaning toward me and pressing a soft kiss to my cheek. “I guess we should eat before it gets cold, hmm?” She mused.

“Right.” I mused. For once, food was the last thing on my mind. All I could think about was throwing her on the table and tearing her clothes off in front of everyone.

I cleared my throat loudly and reached for my burger.

Olivia picked at her salad, before starting on her pasta. She took intermittent sips at her tea.

I couldn’t understand it. I devoured my meal, barely stopping to breathe between bites.

I sat and patiently waited for her to finish. I moved my arm around the back of her chair, twisting a lock of her beautiful curls around my index finger.

Olivia finished her meal, daintily wiping her mouth with her napkin. She turned to me, smiling.

“What are you thinking?” She mused.

I couldn’t possibly tell her what I was actually thinking. I was sure she would think I was some kind of pervert or a sex-starved maniac. When really I was just a teenage guy.

“Nothing, really. I was just kind of thinking about what we might do tonight.”

Olivia smiled lightly, drawing in a deep breath. “I’ve actually been thinking about that too…” She mused. She elegantly crossed her legs. She tucked her hair behind her ear. “I was thinking… maybe I could stop at my dorm and pick up some pajamas… and I could spend the night in your dorm… if that’s okay.” She quickly backpedaled. “I don’t want to be just inviting myself over.”

“No, of course. I’d be glad to have you over.” I said quickly.

“Do you think Thomas will mind?” She wrinkled her nose.

I shrugged lightly. “I doubt it. Tomorrow is Saturday, right? He’ll have his chess tournament tomorrow, so he’ll probably be in bed early and out the door early tomorrow morning.” I answered.

Olivia smiled, but her smile slowly faded. “Um… maybe we should set up some ground rules? Like… we agreed not to jump into anything… physical… too quickly. We’re taking it slowly, and we shouldn’t… do anything…” She fumbled with her words.

I nodded quickly. “No, no. I get that.” I was completely and unbearably disappointed, but I understood what she was trying to say.

“It’s just that the last… I mean when we fought earlier and split up… that was so hard on me and… and I’m sure it was hard on you too.” She chewed her lower lip. “I just don’t want to… go overboard.”

I nodded. “Right. Of course.” I answered quickly. “I totally get that.”

I could swear this girl was trying to kill me.

“Good… I just…. Don’t want to start a huge fight later, you know?” She worried.

“Yeah.” I nodded. “Of course. I totally get it.”

I was sure I could behave myself for one night.

Olivia stopped at her dorm and picked up a few things. It seemed to take forever. We went back to my dorm, and found that Thomas had already gone to bed. We watched a movie and when it finished, we went to my room.

Olivia was changing, and I dug through my dresser. At the very back I found an old pair of flannel pajama bottoms, yanking them on. I found a clean smelling wife-beater and shoved my discarded clothes into the hamper.

Olivia appeared in the doorway. “Hi.” She smiled sweetly.

“Hi,” I answered. I turned to face her and almost had to sit down.

Olivia was wearing a pair of baggy flannel pajama shorts, with cute little hearts on them. She was wearing a matching pink tank top, which was a size too tight. It hugged her curves in a way that made my head spin.

Olivia blushed. “Probably not the sexiest pajamas I own, but they’re comfy.” She answered.

I swallowed thickly.

She moved toward me and plopped down next to me, pursing her lips.

I sighed softly, moving my arms around her. I lifted her carefully by her torso and lifted her up the bed. I laid her down with her head on the pillow.

Olivia arched, pushing her chest out slightly, which was probably an involuntary movement.

I gently lifted her chin and pressed my lips to hers. I kissed her deeply. She whimpered softly against my lips, her eyes closing slowly.

Her mouth slowly opened against mine.

I released her mouth, and kissed along her cheek and throat. She sighed, tossing her head back and breathing deeply. Her chest was heaving. I kissed across her chest and moved my lips back to hers. I tangled the fingers of my left hand in her hair.

Olivia moaned against my lips. Her thigh hitched around my hip, pulling me closer. I pressed against her, causing her to arch seductively and moan again.

I’d never wanted anyone else. My right hand moved across her arm, causing goosebumps to ripple against her skin.

My hand cupped her breast tightly, kneading the perfect, pert mound in my hand. Her nipples were hand and god did I ever want to wrap my mouth around them just to hear her delighted moans.

“Isaac.” Olivia panted. She broke the kiss and turned her head away from me. I kissed along her throat, finding the spot that always made her moan.

She tossed her head back, “Oh, Isaac.” She cooed, her eyes rolling back.

“It’s been too long.” I murmured against her perfect skin.

“We… we shouldn’t…” She breathed, her chest heaving, pushing her breast further into my hand. “It’s too… it’s too soon.” She panted. “We should stop.”

“Or we should keep going…” I tempted. “Think of how good I’ll make you feel…” I murmured seductively.

She whimpered. “We were supposed to be spending the night together as just friends…”

“We could be friends tonight…” I mused. “We could be friends with benefits… friends who do more than just be friends…” I tried.

Olivia sighed. “We should stop… we… we need to stop…’ She panted.

I sighed, pulling away from her and sitting up.

“Ike, I’m sorry…” She began.

“No, I’m sorry.” I replied. “You gave me fair warning that nothing would be happening tonight. It’s all my fault that I can’t… keep myself in check.” I sighed. “I’m sorry. I’ll behave better.”

Olivia sat up. “I’m sorry. Maybe this was a bad idea…” She sighed. “I should go…”

“No, no. Stay.” I said quickly. “I’ll be good. I promise.”

Olivia smiled and tucked herself into my arms. “Okay.”

“It might require a few cold showers, but-“

Olivia swatted at my arm.

I laughed, lightly tickling her. She squirmed, laughing loudly. “Okay, okay!” She laughed. She sighed and dropped back against the pillows.

“Are you tired?” I asked.

Olivia smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I think so.”

“Me too.” I mused. I dropped back against the pillows and lightly kissed her cheek. “Night.”
